Days of Rage
Days of Rage

On Friday, Hartford Stage brought me up to partake in their 17th annual Brand New Play Festival, a week-long incubator for five new plays.
Along with Erin Felgar, Kiera Keeley, Rachel Mewbron, and Vince Nappo,
I was in Steven Levenson’s Days of Rage, a dark(ish) comedy about
revolutionaries in Upstate New York in 1969. It was amazingly fun to perform;
artistic director Darko Tresnjak staged our reading in a whirlwind two days,
and it went off splendidly for a packed house.
Here’s hoping it gets a full run soon; the play is quite funny, and a true, three-dimensional look at the difficulty of the time period, and the conflicting ideals of the fringe radicals in the late ‘60s.
